Many dangers on the not-so-open road

I read a recent column by Adam Sullivan ('I detest left-lane drivers,” Feb. 15) that some sort of fine should be put in place against slow drivers in the left lane to keep the flow of traffic moving. But there's the other side: people who pass drivers going the speed limit, who then decide to whip their vehicle back over to exit at the nearest exit, maybe less than an eighth maile down the road. Drivers in the right lane have to hit the brakes to slow down for this moron.
Did the driver not realize, a mile or two back, that the exit was close by? More times than not, it's someone with plates for that county.
Is it necessary for these people to drive so rudely and possibly cause a pileup? I think not. Maybe they need to be ticketed for reckless driving.
