Make ‘photo enforced’ signs more prominent

A suggestion to the state and local departments that manage the “photo enforced” speed limit signs: Make the signs more visible. Cedar Rapids takes much “heat” for the signs from people who receive a violation notice. It is unnecessary heat.
My solution would be to move the small “photo enforced” sign from the bottom of the row of signs, color it a brilliant color, different from, the speed signs, and place it on top of the post. By making it clearly visible, no one can yell “unfair.” That simple method would prevent negative comments as the person receiving the violation notice would have no excuse.
Who knows? It might even prevent politicians and their family members from speeding.
