Make it easy on yourself: Vote absentee
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Oct. 27, 2009 12:05 am
Absentee ballots are easy to obtain. You may request one by mail or complete a ballot in person at the Linn County Auditor's Office in the old Steve & Barry's store at Westdale Mall. This allows you to avoid crowds at the polling places and vote at a time convenient to you or do it in the convenience of your home.
Cedar Rapids needs to move forward with its flood-recovery efforts and your vote is needed more than ever to be able to elect the best people possible to achieve these results.
Don't let barriers stand in the way of voting. Take advantage of absentee ballots.
