Loud motorcyclists deserve traffic tickets

The March 23 editorial asking motorcyclists to tone down the noise is like asking a rock band to play quietly. It is not their nature. The only way to stop it is to issue some tickets.
The apartment I live in on First Avenue has triple-pane glass windows. I do not hear cars, trucks or buses. But I do hear sirens and motorcycles.
I invite the police to spend a little time on a Sunday afternoon on upper First Avenue when every cool straight pipe biker has the urge to roar up and down the avenue.
