An organization supporting Bruce Braley has spent $2.6 million on attack ads against Joni Ernst that a nonpartisan fact checking organization declared to be false.
Lies are displacing opportunities for fair play. Ernst's statements are taken out-of-context, causing distortion and misrepresentation.
Iowa's listeners deserve more than Braley's political tactics. We need to put our trust in Ernst because she does not play political games but instead tells the facts as they are.
Braley is trying to portray Ernst as an extremist when it comes to renewable energy, when is clearly ridiculous because Ernst showed and continues to show her support for the subsidies to protect the Renewable Fuel Standard. Instead, Braley is the extremist who supports Washington's policies in place of Iowa's.
