Longtime readers disagree with Gazette

I am very disappointed with The Gazette running the article, “Where's the love?” (about a productive Congress getting no respect from voters) on the front page Oct. 19.
The piece is obviously produced by the Democratic National Committee and funneled through their surrogate, the Associated Press. This is nothing more than a slanted opinion piece that belongs in the Opinion section at best.
It becomes more obvious when you see a lead piece for Roxanne Conlin on page 2A and the endorsement for Dave Loebsack on page 4A. The Conlin piece also belongs on the Opinion page, at best.
The arguments used for endorsing Dave Loebsack are weak and pathetic. Loebsack has been lock-step with Obama and company in bankrupting our country. And yet you feel he is somehow a maverick compared to Mariannette Miller-Meeks?
My wife and I will be ending our 18-year relationship with The Gazette. I urge other like-minded Americans to do the same.
