Loebsack’s mailers getting intrusive
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Aug. 23, 2010 12:46 am
Dave Loebsack is at it again. I recently received a mailing piece - well designed, excellent photographs, printed in four colors on a heavy grade of expensive paper. This piece is so thinly veiled as an “informative” communication, one wonders why he even bothered.
This is a “hooray for me, vote for me” political mailer that is plainly marked, “Prepared, published and mailed at taxpayer expense.” This is the fourth mailer I have received, and no doubt there will be more.
Why in the world those of us who don't like Loebsack's policy positions, didn't vote for him and have no intention of ever voting for him should be forced to help him win re-election is beyond my capacity to explain.
There seems to be no end to “the ends justify the means” attitude of this Congress and this White House.
