Loebsack has proven he can work with others

Congressman Dave Loebsack has a proven record of working across the aisle to get things done for Iowa. He has worked within the delegation on flood recovery and National Guard issues.

He understands that it is more important to get things done than to try to score political points on the backs of hardworking Iowans.

For example, Loebsack worked with Sen. Chuck Grassley to enact tax cuts for Iowa flood victims. He reached out across the aisle and was a leader for Iowa. Loebsack has a strong record of reaching “across” to make compromises - including his willingness to negotiate on the Bush tax cuts.

Loebsack repeatedly stated that he wanted to make sure that those tax cuts were extended for middle-class families and for small businesses. He was willing to work with Republicans to make sure that those cuts were extended. Unfortunately, the partisanship was such that no extension was enacted.

Send Loebsack back to Congress so that he can continue to be one of the few voices of reason - and continue to fight for Iowa families.
