Loebsack has earned a vote for re-election

As we head into the final days of the 2010 midterm elections, it is important to re-elect Dave Loebsack to Congress. There are three reasons:
In a partisan environment in Washington, Loebsack authored and got passed H.R. 1885; the SECTORS Act of 2009. The bill brings together industry, work force development, educators and labor to ensure that communities have the required work force for 21st-century jobs. The bill passed unanimously, reflecting Loebsack's ability to work on both sides of the aisle.
Loebsack has a strong relationship with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as evidenced by his securing $84 million for the district from Housing and Urban Development for future flood mitigation. Securing these funds was based on an agreement between Loebsack and Pelosi.
Finally, Loebsack has been one of the most accessible representatives. During the recent August work session, he maintained a constant schedule of meetings and was available in groups or for one-on-one conversations frequently around the district. While I don't always agree with the congressman, I have confidence he will listen to and consider my concerns. Unlike his predecessors, he knows my name.
Dave Loebsack has earned re-election and I urge you to vote for him.
