Local government taxing citizens too much

The Linn County supervisors and the Cedar Rapids City Council and school board need to get the dollar signs out of their eyes and realize that they are taxing us too much now.
There is a limit to what older people can afford to pay - seriously, no raise in Social Security for two years because the cost-of-living hasn't gone up! Wake up and realize that Jim Houser wasn't re-elected so it can carry on through for the next election.
