Local farmers, farmers markets deserve praise

With so much negative energy in the air these days, I would like to give a word of praise to all of our local farmers, especially the ones who brought such wonderful produce to the Marion Farmers Markets.
I am truly very proud of you and our great state of Iowa.
Also, a word of thanks to Knight's sweet corn stand at the Marion Drug Town. I always look forward to their corn and tomatoes. Twice I bought only one ear of corn, and both times they put two ears in my sack.
I have been trying to buy locally now and I am happy when I find things made in the U.S.A.
