Lions Clubs help with hearing needs, too
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Mar. 28, 2010 12:40 am
Recently, two of my relatives with hearing problems were able to use the services of the Lions Club. This organization is known for its help with eyeglasses. We were not aware of the availability of help with hearing needs.
The process begins with contacting your local Lions Club Association.
They set up an appointment with a reputable audiologist who examines ears and prescribes hearing aids.
Counties and areas have their own Lions Club. They assist those living in their areas.
We are very grateful to the Johnson and Linn County Lions Clubs for their efficient, thorough, timely and caring help.
