Linn County needs professional management

Isn't it time to rethink the structure of Linn County's government? The three incumbent supervisors say three is not enough to get all the work done. Others say three is insufficient to represent the diverse interests across the county.
We should be looking at moving to a professional county manager and make the supervisor's job part time with a part time salary. A supervisor's focus would be on oversight and setting policy, not executing policy. With a part time board the number of supervisors could be increased and along the way we may even save some tax dollars. Lets move to a move efficient way of delivering county services.
