In the letter about global warning by Eugene Spaziani ('Ellis clearly pushing a political agenda,” March 18) in his answer to Gary Ellis's guest column, I have an answer to his question about 'why would they?” be lying to us.
The bureaucrats and climate scientists get their billions of dollars over the years for satellites, numerous long-range climate forecast developments and research teams all over the world by telling us that the sky is falling.
How much do you think they would get from the government if they told us that the sky is not falling? How much do you think government gives to researchers who say and can prove that the sky is not falling.
