Letter: What’s the fuss about voter ID
Gary Waterbeck
Apr. 2, 2017 1:00 am
To vote in Iowa, you have to be a registered voter. To register, you have to show a government issued photo ID that shows your address. When you go to vote, your name and information are checked against a registry.
For those complaining about showing an ID at the time of voting, if you don't have one, how did you get registered to vote in the first place?
