Letter: We are experiencing a mental collapse

We, the people of the United States, are experiencing a mental collapse. Election of a president and others are a fiasco.
Lawfully and unlawfully, representatives have been selected to serve under oath responsible to the people and to the 50 sovereign states. The oath is no longer inviolate as in the days of our forefathers when such an oath was sacred. The U.S. Congress cannot impeach nor convict since the Oval Office, Supreme Court, U.S. House and the U.S. Senate are political party controlled. The integrity and morals of a majority of candidates is in the swamps. Responsibility is ignored.
It would seem that an amendment to require members be expelled when failing to impeach and convict with sufficient evidence. There are provisions within the Constitution for this but are ignored, Section 5 Article 1, Section 4 Article 2, Section 3 14th Amendment.
