Letter: Voting is more powerful than the dollar

Your privilege to vote will soon be coming and it's time to decide. A July Gallup Poll of Congress's work revealed 83 percent disapprove, 13 percent approval and 4 percent had no opinion. This should give credence to the lack of job performance which demands change.
Congress should issue a progress report of accomplishments. Don't be surprised if it's not forthcoming. History will reveal the Tea Party had this limiting effect on Congressional action.
The Koch brothers realized their livelihood was threatened by government regulations and climate change. The book 'Dark Money” by Jane Mayer is the hidden history of billionaires behind the rise of the radical right lead by the Kochs. They would prefer shattering the earth's core to enhance and safeguard their fortunes. As a result, we have an abiding Congress with a new meaning given to the word 'no,” virtually eliminating bipartisanship.
Your vote for righting this wrong is more powerful than the dollar. Don't let 'Dark Money” blot out the sunshine of Democracy.
