Letter: Vote Mazahir Salih for I.C. Council

I support Mazahir Salih for Iowa City Council At-Large.
Salih's commitment to justice for working class people is inspiring. I know her through my volunteer work at the Center for Worker Justice of Eastern Iowa. What astonishes me about Salih is her endless capacity to listen critically, and to take seriously the thoughts and emotions of everyone she comes into contact with, including voices which are too often ignored.
Join me on Nov. 7 in voting for Salih.
