Letter: Violent protesters should be stopped

I'm not against protesting as long as it is done in a proper, peaceful way.
Of course, now people are protesting everything and they're not very organized. Now when they're violent, they burn cars and break windows. They have gone too far and should be stopped in their tracks.
Our police are put in the middle as usual and they're not allowed to stop it. The police can get bricks and bottles thrown at them, but they can't retaliate and they could stop it quick. Our politicians and mayors won't turn them loose.
The protesters who destroy things and hide their faces should be dealt with force. You get tough with them than you might see a change in their criminal acts.
