Letter: Vanorny brings strong voice to city

I have known Ashley Vanorny and her family for almost 20 years, since she and our daughter attended Jefferson High School. She would make a great council member, bringing a younger perspective to the council, as well as a strong voice for not just the southwest side, but the entire city. She is high energy and a woman of her word.
She has been a resident of District 5 her entire life, so she knows what is needed. She is very involved in the community, and is especially involved in issues involving children in foster care.
If you live in District 5, vote for Vanorny. She will bring a much needed spark of energy and compassion to the city council.
