Letter: Trump is a truth-telling outsider
Ed Dolan

The Washington establishment, regardless of party, works feverishly to prevent a Donald Trump presidential nomination. Why?
Because he threatens the incestuous, and highly lucrative, relationship between big government, big media and big business. Most politicians are owned (bought) by lobbyists, multinational corporations, unions, foreign governments or foreigners.
But The Donald is an outsider, self-funding his campaign. He won't bend a knee to the Council on Foreign Relations, the UAW, the teacher's union or the bar association. He asks important questions others are afraid to ask:
Why do American workers get shafted by our trade deals?
Why is our border with Mexico so porous?
Why do we continue our ruinous immigration policies?
Perhaps our entrenched elite are afraid of criminal prosecution under a President Trump who doesn't play by their rules.
The more the establishment tries to derail Trump, the more the public realizes that he's the one telling the truth.
