Letter: Traffic cameras make roads safer

I'm so glad we have lawyers. One says Cedar Rapids should no longer use traffic cameras and another that they should use them until the judge says to shut them off.
Why do anti-camera drivers think they have a God-given right to speed? If you think the limit is too low, go to the legislature and tell them to change the law so you need not be concerned about traffic safety, that you'd prefer to get to your destination two minutes earlier.
