Letter: Think before setting off fireworks
David Kesler
Jul. 2, 2016 1:00 am
It's that time of year again.
If you are one of those people who light off fireworks, especially incredibly loud ones, let me ask you several questions.
Do you know anybody with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder? What effect do you think 'explosions” have on these people, many of whom proudly served our country? Do you think you have any neighbors with pets that become terrified by fireworks? How does your momentary enjoyment impact the lives of your neighbors and their pets?
While you may think you have the freedom to set off these explosives, what about the freedom of others? And fireworks are, at least for the time being, illegal.
