Letter: The left is showing its true colors

The ultra liberal left has started to show its true colors since the election and those colors aren't red, white and blue.

Apparently, the First Amendment means nothing to them, let alone the diversity and tolerance they preach and insist of others. Instead, they resort to violent and destructive protests against the speaking by those who have views which are opposite of theirs. In the meantime, like-minded college administrations condone their actions and cave to the threats they raise, cancel the speakers, all supposedly in the name of public safety. Really?

What a joke some of our universities have become and the mainstream media is not far behind them, as well as some Democrats in Congress.

Still wondering why and how Donald Trump was elected? It wasn't Russian interference. It was the common sense of those voters who still believe in true American values.
