Letter: The American agenda has been forgotten

What a toxic political environment we've sunk into.

Not just since last November's shocker.

And not just in the evermore debased D.C. behavior since.

Not just many of our elected who seem to have lost their voices. Maybe their souls, too.

Through it all, there is sometimes foggy references to a muddled Democratic agenda.

And we hear utterances about 'the” Republican agenda.

Yet nowhere to be found, it seems, is the American agenda.

Where has that gone?
