Letter: ‘Thank you’ doesn’t seem enough

Once again the rising waters have made it necessary to be grateful for my family, friends and people I didn't know who were there in an instant to help me out.
A single thank you doesn't seem enough to express my heartfelt gratitude. I can only hope they realize how much it means.
I like to console myself by remembering all the good times I've had living in this idyllic area by the river. They far outnumber the bad.
