Letter: Support Scott Peterson for Iowa Senate

After receiving several derogatory fliers in the mail from Sen. Dan Zumbach regarding Scott Peterson, I did some research on the former mayor of Mount Vernon.
I was impressed by his background of 26 years in the military as a pilot, served as an attorney for the Linn County office, city attorney for North Liberty and Palo. He also served on the Mount Vernon City Council and was the mayor of Mount Vernon.
Having served 11 years in active military in the aviation field, I understand the work and dedication Peterson has put forth for our country and community service.
Is this why Zumbach refuses to have a debate with Scott Peterson?
