Letter: Support Patty Judge for U.S. Senate

Iowans have a tendency to vote for incumbents. We have been granting this privilege to Sen. Chuck Grassley. This time, we might consider a few points before marking the ballot for senator.
We have term limits for the presidential position, do the reasons for that also apply to Senate and Congress? We need to make a choice to support that concept.
We have an excellent candidate in Patty Judge, a wife, mother, farmer and nurse. Experience in the Iowa Legislature, as lieutenant governor, and secretary of agriculture, grounded by a nurse's compassion and resourcefulness in crises.
Despite commendable efforts to work in a bipartisan manner, Sen. Grassley has contributed to the climate in Washington, DC.
Our entire court system is understaffed and this ripples out in many different social problems.
Our world moves forward with new ideas, new strategies and a good dose of fresh air from time to time.
Please join me in supporting Patty Judge for U.S. Senate.
