Letter: Stories contradict each other

On Feb. 3, The Gazette printed two contradicting stories.
Page 3 had an article on how we are a wonderful place to live - No. 8 on the affordable cities list ('Cedar Rapids' affordable living cheer: We're No. 8!”).
A few pages later is the sentencing of a Cedar Rapids man with 40 arrests and 30 convictions ('C.R. man with 30 convictions sentenced on firearms charges”).
How ironic.
