Letter: Show respect or feel free to move to France

To those who cannot stand up, take off their hats, put their hands over their hearts, put their phones away and respect those who died for their freedom when the national anthem is played, feel free to move to France.
The national anthem is not the place to show your displeasure or respect. Shame on the National Football League. Kudos to John Tortorella (2016 World Cup of Hockey) for saying nobody on his team will be defiant.
Find another way.
