Letter: Show alalegiance by flying American flag

As I write this letter, it's Flag Day, June 14. On my daily one-hour walk, except Sundays, I am appalled there are very few flags displayed this day and most every day. What has happened and why the apathy of Americans? Is it because we are governed by a leaderless nation?
I do hope and pray our citizens will, one day, begin to show our allegiance and devotion to a flag which represents the greatest country on this earth.
