Letter: Seniors, veterans often overlooked

The City of Cedar Rapids has ignored the seniors or forgotten them altogether, but don't forget the veterans, they deserve much more than they are getting.
The city talks, but we need more than that. Start with housing for these men.
The city could start with a donation and a plan of some sort. Surely, that wouldn't be too much to ask. You can bet there would be many out there, including companies and people, who would be willing to help in some way or another.
That would at least be a start. Get people stirred up at least.
