Letter: School Trump on international politics

The president-elect, I believe in a calculated move, took a call from the president of Taiwan, breaking with four decades of U.S. foreign policy in order to thumb his nose at the People's Republic of China.
The president-elect has harshly criticized Chinese policy. He also has still not released his own tax returns, which would answer questions about his international business dealings, including the debts his businesses owe.
The president-elect needs to be schooled about international politics and how political dictatorships work. It would be very instructive, should the president-elect's businesses be so indebted, for Chinese banks to demand repayment of every last penny owed them before the president-elect's inauguration.
