Letter: Scaramucci appointment a surprise

I was surprised to read that President Donald Trump appointed Anthony Scaramucci as his new communications director. Scaramucci accepted that global warming is a fact. He commented that he favors strong gun control laws. He disagreed with the death penalty and he praised Jeff Sessions for recusing himself from the Russia investigation.
Now that Scaramucci is representing Trump, he has totally reversed his tweeted views on these subjects. He has even gone so far as to delete his tweets so as to 'erase the record.”
He has a difficult job ahead, since he must now defend Trump's lies and disinformation.
