Ryan Russell, candidate for Cedar Rapids City Council District 1, is a man with strong values. Whether you're talking about family values, work ethic or community pride, he conveys the qualities of a person you want in your corner.
He has proved himself to be a dedicated employee and volunteer. He doesn't back down from a challenge and prefers to do his own research in order to approach these challenges with solutions that make sense to him. He takes great pride in his work and will bring that same work ethic into his position as City Council member.
As a volunteer, he's gone above and beyond when Cedar Rapids has called for help. From sandbagging to giving tours at Brucemore, he answers the call for help and he does it willingly.
He is proud of Cedar Rapids, in that, even in the face of adversity, we have risen above and have grown into a sought-after community for families to live, work and play. He will work hard to make sure our city puts measures in place to protect us from catastrophic flooding. He is a proponent for utilizing local businesses to ensure our economy remains intact.
He has realistic, achievable goals to make our city better. He listens and respects what others say to him. He puts his family first, he is a great friend, he is not afraid of hard work and he loves his city of Cedar Rapids.
Vote for him on Tuesday.
