Letter: Remove Trump from office to restore greatness

Connect the dots. From the Jan. 21, 2017, Women's March in Washington (and around the world), through the cascade of men (of every class and station) who, over the past year, now stand accused of various sexual misdemeanors, to last week's announcement of the Time's Up Legal Defense Fund - the bold initiative of a consortium of women in arts and entertainment - to address the same. We end up at one place: the White House.
There, sits a man who denies every charge any woman has leveled against him. Who, after first admitting the truth about the Hollywood Access tape, now seeks to deny that it was actually 'his voice” everyone heard. A man who once told radio audiences that fighting sexually transmitted diseases was his 'personal Vietnam” (so much for respecting our troops).
Supporters of this man like to say that voters knew all of this - and still elected him to the highest office in the world. I respectfully disagree. Only one major news or media outlet - amazingly, the Wall Street Journal on Oct. 10, 2016 - had the courage to report that this same man had been accused in a civil suit of raping a 13-year-old child at a series of parties in New York in 1994.
Until we deal with this reality, we stand no chance of moving forward together, let alone restoring any former greatness.
