Letter: Progress at stake in Johnson County election
Sen. Bob Dvorsky & Sue Dvorsky
May. 4, 2016 1:00 am
The Board of Supervisors' primary election is important for all the communities in Johnson County. Progress on economic, environmental and social issues is at stake, as well as protecting our human services safety net. We have three votes to cast and we should take each one seriously.
Rod Sullivan brings years of experience and leadership to the board.
Lisa Green-Douglass has earned the right to a full term to make a continued positive impact.
Pat Heiden will bring her long experience with confronting issues that trouble the elderly and those struggling with mental illness in our community.
The Board of Supervisors' decisions have a direct impact on quality-of-life issues for every citizen in Johnson County. All three votes are important and we are proud to cast them for Heiden, Green-Douglass and Sullivan.
State Sen. Bob Dvorsky and Sue Dvorsky
