Letter: President Trump must earn respect

There seems to be a steady stream of community letters saying that we all need to show respect for Donald Trump, just because he's the president if for no other reason.
Well, in my book no one gets respect just for his job title. Respect has to be earned. It is not earned by bullying people, making threats, spending more than the Meals on Wheels program costs jetting to Florida on the weekends, or making unsupported accusations in early morning tweets. Other people think we just need to give him a chance. I say he has a chance every single day to clean up the behaviors mentioned above and start acting like a serious full-time president.
