Letter: President Trump is misleading his voters
Roger Hines

This man sold his followers a bill of goods that turns out to be lies. President Donald Trump hasn't brought back any overseas jobs; only a few jobs in weapons and electronics used in defense. He said he would bring back coal, a dying source of fuel. Natural gas, which is plentiful, is a cheaper fuel for power plants.
Another very sad thing is taking regulations off air quality, carbon and other pollutants enable toxins to jeopardize our children's future - 'so sad.”
Our standing as he withdraws from NATO says to heck with our allies as he insults world leaders. The only person he says 'nice guy” to is the Russian president who maintains a whole litany of attacks against our country's future. Trump has become a laughingstock all over the world as others lose respect for the super power we once were.
Our elected officials try to cut Medicaid by 24 million people, throwing them out of nursing homes and killing a lot of working poor. My question to our state and federal elected officials is: Are you going to go to nursing homes to help carry them out on the streets in wheelchairs? Sen. Chuck Grassley, Rep. Steve King, Sen. Joni Ernst and Rep. Rod Blum are a cruel bunch of people. I ask all Americans to pray for our country. Ask God to soften the hearts of the Republican Party, the religious right and our president that God may bless our nation once again.
