Letter: Planned Parenthood is not necessary

Planned Parenthood is neither needed nor necessary. There are ample medical facilities in our city, our state and our nation well qualified to take care of any medical conditions as well as women's issues.
It has been an abuse of taxpayer dollars to pay for Planned Parenthood and borders on being illegal to arbitrarily spend tax dollars in this way. Taxpayers as a whole should have never been obligated to contribute to abortion rights when the majority of taxpayers are against it. We put people in prison for murder and then turn around and legalize killing a human that we cannot see.
Adoption is available to those who opt not to have the responsibility of their child. Also, since Roe vs. Wade there has been an onslaught of men and women killing their children. If we can legally get rid of them in the womb, what is wrong with getting rid of them after they are born?
Our human rights are being violated by our government. Abortion rights encouraged by Planned Parenthood is barbaric and terrorism at its very core.
