Letter: Our country needs President Trump

In response to James McNeill III's Aug. 9 letter 'Enjoy your time on vacation, Mr. President”:

He fails to mention that the entire legislative body also takes an August vacation. In contrast to Congress, President Donald Trump accomplishes a lot of work while he is on vacation, probably more than most people while they are working. .

McNeill appears to have bought into the 'Fake News” that much of the major media is promoting. I hope and pray that President Donald Trump has a long tenure as president, and that the obstructionist Congress members do not get re-elected. Some of them do not want to accomplish anything other than stop the president from getting things done, so they can continue with the corrupt business as usual politics that has taken over much of the political arena. They try to hamper him by delaying his appointments and creating unwarranted roadblocks.

If the Russians were going to support the election of anyone, it would have been Clinton, because they know they could have intimidated her, buy her off by donating to the Clinton Foundation, or otherwise bluffing her into doing what they wanted.

President Trump wants to clean house and that is precisely what this country needs.
