Letter: New housing additions lack color

I have no opinion regarding the 'snout” house design.

I am more appalled by the expansion of chromatically monotonous housing developments that are popping up all over Linn County.

Why are these dwellings all limited to such a tiny fraction of the color palate? Brown, tan, beige, khaki, wheat, ecru, camel, sand, buff, fawn, etc.

How depressing it must be to live in such a tedious area.
