Letter: Make your voice heard on Nov. 8

After two conventions our exercise might seem like pinning the tail on the elephant, donkey or dromedary (one humped camel) blindly. But this process must be done with eyes wide open and not as previously stated.
We have a privilege, as described in our Constitution, to exercise our freedom to vote and make our feelings known in all elections whether it be nationally, statewide or locally. Don't abuse that privilege. Make your feelings known on Nov. 8.
In addition to voting, if you have legitimate ideas for the betterment of the common good make your feelings known in writing to those who can help bring them into reality. Avoid the chatter with friends, acquaintances and relatives as they hit walls leading nowhere.
Actions do speak louder than words, as the old saying goes. Vote come Nov. 8.
