Letter: Let’s work together to stop animal abuse

Stopping animal abuse is a huge problem facing this world. Some people don't believe animals deserve to live a happy, healthy life like humans do. Animals are here for a reason and are a part of this world and they should be treated right.
Animals have hearts and they are living creatures just like us. So, isn't animal abuse almost the same as abusing a person? Imagine yourself in their position: being beaten severely and dumped on the side of the road or being starved. Those are a few of terrible things that happen to animals.
What they do to deserve this? Did they murder a bunch of people? Did they break into someone's house and steal stuff? Or are they a bunch of innocent animals who just want love and attention? If they bit somebody then take them to a vet and put them down the nonpainful way.
Animals will do anything for love, attention and food. They are living creatures who deserve a happy, healthy life. Let's give them the life they deserve.
