Letter: Landfill doesn’t belong in Marion

In response to Charlie Kress' guest editorial of Aug. 31 'Prospect Meadows: Good project, wrong location”:
The solution is very simple - close the dump, which was pushed down the citizens of Marion's throat by the board of supervisors, the Cedar Rapids City Council and the solid waste agency. The dump doesn't belong in Marion. Maybe Prospect Meadows does.
