Letter: Joni Ernst should defend Robert Mueller

Sen. Joni Ernst, more than anyone, should know how disgraceful it is for the GOP to try and discredit a war hero. Robert Mueller received a purple heart defending his country and Sen. Ernst must now stand up and defend him.
Mueller deserves Ernst's support as a veteran and as special counsel investigating a president who colluded with a foreign government to undermine this great country of ours. For the GOP to try and tarnish his good name and his service to his country is a unspeakable travesty. Sen. Ernst should intervene on his behalf.
