Letter: It’s time to accept Trump as president

Nationally the media and the Democratic Party have become unhinged. Observations:
The election was a barrage of irrational, mean spirited and nasty politics repeated ad nauseam.
Violence, rioting and property destroying events are being organized by left-wing extremists and covered by the media.
The so-called Muslim ban doesn't affect two-thirds of the Muslims in the world.
Hollywood is acting like a B-rated horror movie.
Senate Democrats fail to show up to perform their sworn duties. They call people names, racist or worse. They ask childish and unrelated questions to cabinet nominees.
University professors are bringing their political views into the classroom.
Students exhibit a total lack of knowledge of civics and election law. Free speech is being challenged on campuses.
A Federal appeals court makes a decision without reading the U.S. Constitution or federal law.
Every day the news is hate President Donald Trump all day all the time.
The media and the Democrats seem like Humpty Dumpty having fallen off the wall (pun intended) and broken into a million tears.
Meanwhile Republicans are going about their business, working to pay for a living and taking care of their families. They worry about jobs, the economy, financing a loan, wondering if health care will get affordable and if the president will be allowed to protect the American people and national security.
It's time for some to grow up and get over the election.
