Letter: Investigate civil rights violations

I call on state and federal agencies to investigate civil rights violations against students espousing conservative views on campus. The fact that Iowa State University, Ames, tried to prevent such views from being heard because 'someone might be offended or annoyed” is very disturbing ('ISU settles suit over harassment policy,” April 4).
The harassment of Robert Dunn is unacceptable, and even though his lawsuit has been settled, criminal charges against those who put in place and try to enforce such policies should be pursued, and those responsible removed from public employment.
