Letter: Honor Flight was humbling experience

Having just returned from an Eastern Iowa Honor Flight to our nation's capital, I wish to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to Kevin Vogel, Eastern Iowa Honor Flights president and his outstanding staff of officers and volunteers.
You would be hard pressed to find a more meticulously planned and executed event. Their attention to detail and concern for the comfort and safety of the Eastern Iowa veterans was overwhelming. I can honestly say it was a marvelous and humbling experience and although it was a long and exhausting day, none of us would have wanted to miss a minute of it.
