On the front page of the April 11 Gazette is a picture taken at a Sen. Joni Ernst event in Elkader. The picture features a person holding a sign declaring 'Health Care is a Right.” As health care costs a lot of money and that money is to be provided by someone else if I can't afford it, I take the sign bearer to mean that access to someone else's money is a right.
Also in the April 11 Gazette, the writer of the community letter 'Voter ID would be costly addition for Iowa” objects to the cost of voter ID, so I understand that cost is important.
I don't have the answer to health care either, but can quote an adage: 'There's nothing easier than spending someone else's money.”
